Report by Jane Baker, Trip Organiser

Last Saturday 27th June, nine of us set off for a day at Cotehele Estate, the weather was lovely and warm, but not as hot as the week before. We enjoyed coffee and cakes (some had late breakfasts) together at the Barn cafe to start with.

Everyone was free to wander around the Grounds and House, or Quay and Mill. Some of us spent ages at the pond trying to photograph dragonflies in flight. While others went off to the Quays and Mill. We all met up again at the Cafe for lunch.

And then had a further couple of hours mooching around. There are quite a lot of different aspects to Cotehele, making photography interesting. At the end of the day some of us went to try and take interesting images of Calstod Viaduct.

An enjoyable day was had by all.
