Seeing Sid

We're delighted to have partnered with Sidmouth School of Art to bring the 'Seeing Sid' exhibition to life.

Over four months this spring, members of Sidmouth Photographic Club set out to photograph the Sid Valley in a way that was personal to them. From iconic coastal views and winding rivers to hidden corners, changing light and everyday moments, each image reflects an individual photographer's unique way of seeing the place we call home.

Together, the exhibition celebrates not just the beauty of the Sid Valley, but the many different perspectives that make it so special. Whether a lifelong local, or someone discovering Sidmouth for the first time, we hope visitors to the Riverside Art Space enjoy seeing our town through the eyes of our members.

The exhibition is now on display outdoors (and online on SSA's website) and will remain on show until November, so there's plenty of time to take a stroll, explore the collection and perhaps discover a few new favourite views along the way.

A huge thank you to Sidmouth School of Art for collaborating with us on this project and helping showcase the creativity and talent within our friendly club and a special mention to sponsors Ignite, Visit Sidmouth, Sidmouth Town Council and Devon County Council for enabling us to bring the exhibition to life. We hope everyone enjoys Seeing Sid as much as we enjoyed creating it!
