Report by event organiser, Bob Reynolds

When one organises an event there is always a worry as to how it will be perceived and

enjoyed by the participants. And this is doubly true when the usual route along the Seafront and up to Connaught Gardens has to be changed due to path and bridge closures and the venue for the drinks gathering afterwards had already been booked. A complete change being necessary.

And so the 24 club members participating, including many of the club’s newest joiners, followed their team leaders into the Sensory Gardens (and the club’s exhibition there), through town, up to and into The Byes, before returning to the Esplanade.

There was a wide selection of photographic subjects suggested, but with so much banter

between the photographers I do wonder how many images were actually taken? "Truth will Out" at the club's Show and Tell evening in November, when the photographs from the evening will be shared!

So, to the venue afterwards where we were all to meet. The Salcombe Tap House had

kindly agreed that they would set aside an area for us - and what a superb setting to

finish the evening. A wide selection of drinks, plus pizza to die for was enjoyed, along with great service too. The chat was flowing so freely that I couldn’t even get a word in to ask how everyone found the evening - that alone suggests it was a hit!
