SPC is celebrating success in the recent judging and selection process for the Western Counties Photographic Federation annual Members Exhibition. Camera Club members from across the WCPF region submitted work in a range of classes, covering both prints and digital images and SPC members made a strong impression.
You can catch the exhibition in person at Stover Country Park (TQ12 6QG) from 2nd–11th May. Opening hours are 10:00–16:00 daily (12:00 on the opening day).
A big round of applause to our award winners:
Jo Bird won a GOLD award in the Open Monochrome Class with ‘Underground Cathedral’ captured in the Basilica Cistern in Istanbul. (https://www.instagram.com/josowdenphotography/)

Mike Hawkridge gained a SILVER in the Open Digital Class for ‘A Rainy Day on the Cote d'Azure’ taken in Nice. (https://hawkeyes.uk/)

Suzanne Parsons won two Highly Commended awards for ‘Ethereal Anemone’ in the Open Colour Print Class and ‘Marbled White on Tall Oat Grass’ in the Nature Print Class.
Bob Reynolds scooped a Selectors Award for his image ‘Sunray On Ram In Dartmoor Storm’. (https://www.bobreynoldsphotography.com/)

These achievements come alongside a host of additional acceptances into the exhibition - making this an excellent all-round result for SPC.
Well done to everyone involved.
